Senior Surveyor

Phillip Wright graduated from California Maritime Academy in 1983 with a BS in Nautical Industrial Technology and a USCG Third Mates License. Phillip sailed aboard seismic survey vessels in the Gulf of Mexico and US West Coast.  After moving ashore he has worked for Total Terminals International, LLC, Zim-American Integrated Shipping Services, Hanjin Shipping Company, Kerr Steamship Company, Matson Agencies and Matson Terminals in senior management, and various marine operations and terminal management capacities in Southern California. Since 1997 he has taught Ocean Carrier Operations with the California State University Long Beach, Global Logistics Specialist, Professional Designation Program. He joined Duncan Shoemaker & Associates in January of 2018.
